Although we are slowly beginning to go back to our normal day-to-day routines and life, social distancing is still a strict requirement in Ontario. Regardless of the businesses that are beginning to open up again, we still have to social distance in order to flatten the curve and keep everybody safe and healthy. Thankfully, there are things that you can do to ensure that you aren’t bored and lonely throughout this difficult time.
Here are some things you can do:
This is a chance to teach your children something new or do something with them that you have never done before. Try out a new craft, take a new path on your walk, play a new game. Keep things exciting by shaking it up a little!
Stay on Schedule
Just because you aren’t running around like usual, doesn’t mean your day isn’t filled with important things to do. Don’t lose track of what you’re up to: stick to a schedule to ensure that you don’t lose your momentum or your motivation to do daily things.
There are all sorts of apps and programs that you can use to stay in touch with the people you love. If social media is getting boring, hop onto a video call with the people you love so that you are always staying connected and working together to face whatever challenges life may be throwing your way. Don’t worry—you’ve got this!
Just because your kids aren’t in their scheduled extracurricular activities, doesn’t mean they can’t practice at home! If your children are swimmers, try practicing things like stroke motions and breath retention at home to ensure that they return to their studies stronger and more motivated than ever!
We can’t wait to get back into the pools as soon as possible. We will be sure to inform our loyal customers as soon as our pools are open to swimmers again. Until then, be patient and keep practicing!
